Derik and Gay’s place was great! The cabin was clean, well kept, and as advertised. It offered a great, quiet accommodation away from the busy tourist towns like Springdale while we visited Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Also, the cabin offered a great view of the starry night sky, as Glendale was devoid of the light pollution you’d experience in Springdale.
Derik and Gay's cabin was amazing! It's unbelievable how one little cabin could have everything you need for a long weekend vacation. Our favorite touches were the comfortable beds, washer/dryer, smart TV with Netflix signed in, items in the kitchen for cooking/packing food, and grilling materials -- we ended up grilling and making s'mores for dinner every night because it was so convenient! Derik and Gay thought of everything to make this Cabin as comfortable as it could be. The only thing we were initially concerned about traffic noise since our Cabin was close to the road, but it wasn't an issue at all (especially if you're worn out after a full day of hiking). We can't wait to recommend this to our friends, and we hope to be back again soon! Thank you!!
A little home base in the center of national parks! The cabin was perfect for our hiking trip. The warm and comfortable beds were welcoming to our tired legs. The shower, washer-dryer, fire pit, grill, and porch swing were definitely a plus! Thank you so much for the supplies such as plates, utensils, and charcoal. Would absolutely recommend to others looking for a safe and cozy place to stay in southern Utah!
The cabin and grounds were extremely tidy and enjoyable. Hosts very informative, accessible and welcoming. The proximity to BOTH Bryce Canyon & Zion NPS was close to perfect for our early morning hiking agendas, and late evening returns. We found sufficient access to groceries in Bryce City (Ruby’s General Store) and Springdale—allowing us to prepare & eat breakfast in our cabin, or prepare snacks/lunch for the road or hikes. If road noise is a significant consideration for you, request a cabin other than #1, though AC unit did provide good “white noise”.
